Massachusetts Traveling Nurse

I was a Massachusetts Traveling Nurse five years ago in Falmouth. I had to apply for a state nurse license

Here is our overview

Massachusetts can issue a nurse license by reciprocity. This state is not part of the NLC (Nurse License Compact)

Reciprocity means a state office will review the credentials of applicants from other states/countries. This state is part of Nursys,an online service that verifies state license for a fee.

A Travel Nurse Massachusetts license is reviewed on an applicant’s birthday. Fifteen contact hours of continuing education are required every two years.

The Massachusetts Board has contracted with Professional Credential Services Inc. in Nashville TN, for the dissemination and processing of applications and forms. www.pcshq.com

For more information on obtaining a nurse license go to http://www.state.ma.us/reg/boards/rn/
