Five Travel Nurse Hawaii assignments in a row! Our first thirteen week assignment was full of excitement. We landed in Kahului on Maui in mid September and immediately we were stunned by the beauty that surrounded us. The sweet gentle scent of the ocean and the aroma of flowers like the plumeria overpowered us. Travel Nursing HawaiiWe purchased an Old Maui Cruiser and meandered our way around the island on those well deserved days off. A white knuckle trip up country or visiting Haleakala Park exposed us to those lush mountains and valleys that make Maui such an exotic place. We quickly made friends and Maui became our "home away from home". Surfing,snorkeling,fishing and golfing are the four main outdoor pastimes that kept us entertained. For the next five years we would return every September, to start a new travel nurse assignment. We were able to entertain family and friends who visited. We also had the opportunity to explore Hawaii,Oahu and Lanaii while on our Travel Nurse Hawaii assignments.

Foreign nurses who are licensed in another state or U.S. jurisdiction are not required to have their education requirements evaluated by a professional educator. Travel Nurse HawaiiA Traveling RN must supply a social security number with their application. I did receive a temporary license while waiting for a Nurse license. Note (Only one temporary license is issued.) You must send a photocopy of your current license and an original verification of employment form. This form must be signed by your employer.
